Customer Service Coordinator

The company is looking for someone to join their busy Vegetable Seed department to help coordinate and administrate the sales export and import processes. You will be providing internal and external customer interactions to ensure all sales are made in a timely and efficient manner with a high level of customer service.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Coordinate and complete all documentation associated with exporting and importing goods fromEurope and Rest of the World, accessing DEFRA’s PEACH application programme and other associated regulatory documentation, raising commercial invoices for Customs, liaise with customs agents and suppliers to ensure effective communication within the company.
  2. Be a key contact for the main vegetable seed supplier with regards to imports/exports and deliveries
  3. Manage and resolve export/importing issues with hauliers, customs agents and suppliers
  4. Maintain stock control and production scheduling for products ensuring customer requirements are met
  5. Assist with uploading customer sales orders onto the company’s in-house business systems, allocating stock and ensuring customer delivery targets are met
  6. Support team members and our regional sales representatives, providing customer/sales information as requested

The successful candidate must be able to work as part of a team, can communicate appropriately at all levels within the company and externally.  You must have a can-do attitude, be reliable, be able to plan and organise your workload and have excellent numeracy skills.

The position

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience working in customer service
  • Experience in a transport/logistics environment both within/outside UK
  • Experienced working with ERP systems desirable, preferably Microsoft Dynamics NAV
  • English and Maths GCSE’s and A Levels or equivalent

Position

PRODUCTION OPERATIVE

We are currently recruiting for two (2) Production Operatives, working as part of our Seed Technology team.

Spalding, Lincolnshire
JOB SUMMARY:
Working under the supervision of the Team Leader as part of the Seed Technology team to provide a quality service by using a range of equipment efficiently and effectively according to written protocols, procedures and safe systems of work.
1. Work under guidance of the Team Leader and/or Production & Logistics Manager to ensure best use of materials and best product
2. Carry out tasks according to Microsoft Dynamic NAV diary list and schedule, maintain inventory and apply products according to NAV task instructions and protocols
3. Complete daily safety checks on equipment associated to seed treatment operations
4. Take responsibility for keeping working areas clean and tidy and follow Health and Safety guidelines. Make suggestions for safer working practices
5. Assist with any other reasonable request in order to fulfil business / production requirements

The position

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience working in a production environment
  • PA1 and PA11 qualifications preferred but full training will be given
  • English and Maths GCSE’s or equivalent
  • Forklift license preferred but full training will be given

We are looking for someone who can operate a range of production equipment with a high level of attention to detail. The successful candidate needs to be able to communicate well at all levels and handle routine tasks and procedures whilst working alone or as part of a team with an ability to remain calm and focused when working under pressure. Good planning and organising skills are essential with good levels of literacy and numeracy skills.

You should have a can-do attitude, be reliable, punctual and able to work in a physically demanding environment.

A flexible approach to working hours is required, especially when there are high demands for production output during the Winter / Spring seasons. You may also be required to assist in our Trials and Warehouse operations as required.
