Breeding Technician
We are looking for a Breeding Technician to join our Breeding Team within the R&D department. Your role will be to take responsibility for glasshouse operations, including plant husbandry, seed propagation of plants, and other day-to-day activities contributing to the smooth running and success of Elsoms’ R&D breeding activities. Seasonal work also includes the preparation of trials, with occasional assessment of agronomic traits. This role provides an opportunity to work with a variety of agricultural and horticultural crops and develop a range of skills.
Cereal Seeds Purification Officer (Plant Breeding)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Purification Officer to work towards strengthening our line maintenance team within the wheat breeding programme. The role will be responsible for the successful execution of wheat purification within the breeding programme. It is an opportunity to work within a focused, multi-disciplined breeding team and develop a broad portfolio of breeding skills.
Planner
Responsible for scheduling the cleaning, processing, treatment, and packing of seed sourced from Seed Production, as well as core suppliers and customers. In addition, the role acts as a Business Central Key User, owning the planning and operational use of MS Dynamics 365 Business Central to ensure accurate scheduling, data integrity, and effective task management.
