The state-of-the-art plant features specialist equipment that increases processing throughput, improves grading accuracy, enhances quality control and enables customer-specific treatments, adding further value to the seeds. This milestone allows Elsoms to continue strengthening the reliability and performance of its seed offering, delivering even greater value to its customers and partners, including Bejo, Saaten Union and Crites Seeds.

Already recognised for exceptional seed standards, the new facility ensures Elsoms remains at the forefront of innovation, supporting the industry’s demand for sustainable, high-performing seed solutions.

The opening ceremony was led by Robin Wood, who retired at the end of 2025 after nearly 30 years of championing excellence in seed quality at Elsoms. A commemorative plaque has been installed, celebrating his legacy and outstanding contribution to the company and the industry.
