Bamford delivers again

Growers expand acreage as harvest results roll in

Strong yields. Reliable straw. Growing acreage. The feedback on Bamford this season tells one consistent story.

"We went all in" — Jeremy Wallbridge backs Bamford again

After early trials in 2025 outperformed the alternatives, grower Jeremy Wallbridge committed his full wheat area to Bamford last season.

"Last season we went all in on Bamford. It does everything that we want it to do"

Straw yield

Straw yield mattered too, on a farm surrounded by cattle enterprises, and disease pressure stayed low through the season — Jeremy reported "no yellow rust or anything like that." In the field, he described a crop that was easy to keep an eye on: "it just looks well all the time... it grows well, it grows fast."

Agronomy

Agronomist Will Lunn saw the same pattern from the advisory side:

"Yields were very good on it and the disease characteristics fitted their bill."

"The other two varieties that we had in that year just didn't perform anywhere near as well."

Bottom line, from Jeremy:

"It does everything that we want it to do."
