Special Export is a Cucurbita maxima Kabocha variety producing medium-sized, deep green fruits with lighter green flecking and a classic oblate shape. Each fruit weighs between 1.5 and 2.5 kg, featuring a firm, medium-thick skin and rich, orange-yellow flesh with excellent culinary quality. Plants exhibit moderate vine vigour and consistently set one to two fruits per plant. This kabocha performs reliably under UK growing conditions.
